About the Author

Lou Tepper brings more than 45 years of experience as a college football coach to Complete Linebacking. Since 2012, Tepper has served as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at the University of Buffalo. As head coach, Tepper has won over 100 games, with stints at the University of Illinois (1991-96), Edinboro University of Pennsylvania (2000-05), and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2006-10).

He took the Illini to three bowl games, including a win in the 1994 Liberty Bowl. At Edinboro, Tepper led his teams to three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) titles and two NCAA Division II playoff appearances. He was twice named PSAC West Coach of the Year. At Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he led the Crimson Hawks to an NCAA playoff appearance and was named PSAC West Coach of the Year for the third time.

In compiling an impressive 101-75-2 overall record as head coach, Tepper is well known for his genius on the defensive side of the ball. Tepper held the positions of defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Louisiana State University (1997-99); defensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Illinois (1988-91); linebackers coach, defensive coordinator, and assistant head coach at the University of Colorado (1983-87); and linebackers coach at Virginia Tech (1978-82).

As linebackers coach, Tepper mentored three Butkus Award winners—Colorado’s Alfred Williams and Illinois’ Dana Howard and Kevin Hardy—and developed more than 20 NFL linebackers, including Simeon Rice and John Holecek. In recognition of his accomplishments and decade of service to the school, the University of Illinois endowed the Lou Tepper Football Scholarship to benefit linebackers in 2006.

"Courage" set the bar high for me, and this book was a little disappointing. It didn't keep my interest at all, and for the first time ever I got irritated by some of his very strong opinions. There are a lot of good pieces in here, especially if you're not already used to Osho's ways, but it definitely wasn't my favorite Osho book.

This is my seond book in this genre. It's easy to become fascinated by the abstract thinking, but also by the simplicity of the things that oftentimes look so complicated that we feel overwhelmed by them.This book focuses on the systems and pshychology of the human nature that leads to possessing a more creative mind. Nor everyone can become famous, but anyone can be creative. Based on what Osho says, even a wash disher can become creative. Creativity gives you the feelign of being alive.The feeling that your life is worthwhile despite of the other less fortunate aspects of your life.Regardless of your goals and aspirations, I believe this book is helpful in offering a view upon our world and upon the nature of being human. Simple to grasp and easy to follow (english is my seond language), it is a book that I will feel guilty to not re-read a few pages once in a while.

This is the kind of book that put you in a way that you will find difficulty reading books after you finish reading it. It contains high amount of old but new ideas in the same time that are introduced with a simple, smooth, brilliant way. It is direct to the point but in indirect way. It left a huge effect on me. I have already read twice but I am going to read it again and again and again. When you read it again, it is as if you are reading it for the first time. It is simple but deep.

Dangerous and provocative is this book .This book challenges our preconceived idea of art, of life, of creativity. If one reads with an open mind,without expectations of what it should be and let the words point to the right direction, this book may open and awake a new a beautiful, unique perspective and new dimension in our daily lives.

The distinction between "activity" and "action" is quite helpful.

This is my second copy of this book. Upon re-reading I've realized how much this book has influenced my perspective on creativity and peace of mind. I don't fully agree with Osho on all of his opinions on art, but the overall content of the book is saturated with little moments of inspiring thought.

Not for those with a strong inner critic, very refreshing and childlike take on life and existence.

A Life changing book. You will never view Life in the way you were taught Life is supposed to be. Amazing!
